Here are the steps for setting up the Setek WiFi range extender using the IP address 192.168.10.1:

  1. When performing the web-based setup using the IP address 192.168.10.1, plug your Setek extender in close proximity or at a distance from your router


  2. Proceed with the setup process once you see a solid green LED light blinking on the extender device.

  3. Open the WiFi settings on any wireless devices such as a Mac, laptop, or iPhone.

  4. You can easily locate the Setek Wireless Network on your WiFi list as "Wireless N" Network92. Click on it to connect to Wireless N, which will appear as an open or unsecured network.

  5. After that, open a web browser of your choice and type 192.168.10.1 in the address bar. This will take you to the Setek extender setup page. If this IP address does not work, try resetting the Setek extender or using a different browser or device.

  6. Follow the on-screen instructions for the Setek range extender. Your device will begin scanning available networks.

  7. A list of available networks will appear on your screen. Select the main WiFi network that you want to extend and enter the password for that network.

  8. Once the Setek WiFi range extender is set up, the WiFi light on it will start blinking solid green.

  9. Finally, unplug the extender and place it within the range of the router. The extender takes 60 seconds to boot up. Place the Setek extender away from interference-creating devices such as microwaves and ovens for better internet connectivity.
